Stability AI Partners with Jasper in Divestment of Init ML

Today we are pleased to announce the divestment of Init ML, the makers of Clipdrop, to Jasper.

This is a strategic move to sharpen our focus on developing cutting-edge open models across multiple modalities adaptable for users to deploy and run wherever and however they prefer. Whether through self-hosting with a Stability AI membership, leveraging our self-serve API Developer Platform, or via one of our cloud service provider partners, our aim is to democratize access to open generative AI technology for everyone.

Jasper has been a valued partner to Stability AI for many years and will remain a customer and deep collaborator in R&D. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with the InitML team in their new home to bring the best of generative AI to as wide an audience as possible.

This transaction is a testament to the hard work of the Init ML team and the amazing product they’ve built. They've been outstanding, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions. We are confident that under Jasper's leadership, Clipdrop will continue to thrive.
